Direct information from Maryland's Department of Housing and Community Development :
- CDA now offers conventional loans insured by private mortgage insurance companies from our approved list.
- CDA continues to offer conventional uninsured loans for purchases where the loan-to-value (LTV) ratio is 80% or less. (Maximum combined LTV is 105%).
- Borrower must meet all qualifications for a Maryland Mortgage Program loan, and can receive assistance from the CDA Downpayment and Settlement Expense Loan Program (DSELP), as well as funds from applicable Partner Match programs.
As of March 15, 2013, you must also have a credit score of 640 to qualify.
